ESC-Mimaki UJF-3042MkII

Printing Systems for customized advertising material

Which printing system is best adressing the customer s demand of individual design and is working reliably and economically at the same time? PSI visitors will find the answer at ESC s booth.

The trend of customizing products remains unbroken. When advertising material affords direct printing, mainly small-size printing systems like the Mimaki flatbed inkjet printers come into play.

The models 3042 and 6042 of the new UJF MkII EX series with a max. print size of 300 x 420 mm or 610 x 420 mm and a media thickness of up to 153 mm are offering an increased productivity of 20%. Unbeatable with regard to their technical equipment they deliver an impressing print quality and versatility. So, for example, by means of 4 print heads it enables an additional attachment of white for high opacity, clear for surface treatment and primer ink for better adhesion with the full color (CMYK). As a result all these functions are carried out by one print setting. Simultaneous under- and overprint of White ink on transparent surfaces lead to strong, shiny colours. The Mimaki LD mode allows for printing on uneven surfaces with up to max. 4.5 mm media thickness difference. Furthermore it is also possible to print on heat-sensitive material thanks to the energy-saving UV-LED drying technology, which also allows for direct material processing right after the print. An example for simplified operation is the MCT circulation technique. It reduces the sedimentation of the White pigments and creates a steady ink discharge. This also requires less cleaning.

Even more advantages of the Mimaki UJF MkII EX series can be discovered at ESC s PSI booth, where visitors can also have a look at the direct-to-garment printers of Kornit and DTG Impression, the small-format ESC-AT screen and ESC-COMEC pad printers.

ESC Kornit Breeze

Top-performing printing systems for the Textile Community at ESC-Decotec
Anyone who wants to know the latest trends in direct-to-print systems or how to meet special printing requirements successfully, should not miss to visit the stand of ESC-Decotec. Beginning from entry-level modesl to high-tech systems for industrial production, from pre-treat units to different dryers due to their wide performance range and their long-lasting expert knowledge ESC is able to offer each user their individual printing solution.
Specially for small to medium-sized print shops ESC will be showing the Kornit Breeze. This DTG system has a max. print size of 350 x 450 mm and stands out for very cost efficient production. Saving time when printing dark textiles means for example to combine White and CMYK in a single pass. Furthermore the textile pre-treatment is integrated and runs automatically.
Energy saving production, low ink prices, biodegradable inks which are certified to strongest international standards, this is typical for the whole gamut of Kornit machines. The second exhibit the Storm II - is offering, despite moderate investment, a remarkable print capacity of up to 120 light fabrics per hour. A double pallet allows for inserting the next garment during the machine operation. All Kornit machines are convincing by reliable high-grade printing quality and best equipment.
Moreover ESC is also offering roll-to-roll textile printers like the Kornit Allegro or the T-REX 320 or RAPTOR from Lüscher-Tschudi.
Customers who do not want to visit all halls of EXPO 4.0 will also find UV flatbed printers for rigid or flexible material at the ESC-Decotec booth: For example the Mimaki UJF series for printing sizes from 300 or 610 x 420 mm and 710 x 510 mm. Large-size materials up to 3200 x 2030 mm can be printed with the ESC-Jetrix. The latest LX-series is now offering an improved economic efficiency with power saving, eco-friendly UV-LED drying. The Canon OcÚ Colorado 1640 is a roll-to-roll printer with innovative UVgel technology, capable of carrying out quick and cost-effective prints on a large variety of in- and outdoor substrates. It is particularly interesting that the ready prints can be instantly processed without further drying.
