Screen printing machines for optoelectronic applications and displays have been achieving a sales volume during the past 5 years which do call for attention. Within only half a decade more than 10,000 high-tech units have been delivered worldwide to producers of industrial goods. Installed in our cars, houses and enterprises these products are playing now an essential role in our everyday life. Everyone is faced everywhere with mobile phones, flat screens and keypads. More and more printed circuits, RFIDs or different motor components, living a hidden life in our products, are provided with function due to the screen printing technique.Versatile printing media are available: carbon conductive varnishes are used for flexible PCBs; plugging pastes are applied for HDI circuits, wafers for photovoltaic systems are printed with organic pastes. Furthermore the design of special screen printing inks for the lighting technology offers a vast amount of potential application possibilities thus demanding highly specialised production solutions from the screen printing suppliers.
At FESPA 2013 in London ESC EUROPA-SIEBDRUCKMASCHINEN-CENTRUM is aiming to demonstrate exactly these technologies which have been designed for OE and PCB applications – naturally together with their long-time partner ATMA, the global industrial screen printing technology leader. At C25N, North Hall, there will be presented the latest screen printing machines equipped with modern CCD camera systems.
Similar to the Formula 1 sport, those designs which have been successfully constructed for the high-end class, are now applied to the ESC standard machines. So conventional screen printing machines are updated in order to guarantee even more precision and control and to meet the screen printer’s increased demands. From now on servo motors which are controlling the squeegee drive and the screen lift are part of the three-quarter screen printing machine’s basic lay-out.
ESC’s presence at Fespa is completed by the ESC-Impress, the new stop cylinder screen printing press, which has become an ESC-star since Drupa 2012. Quality that is second to none, 100 % made in Europe.
