ESC DTG Viper: New digital system for dark textiles
With the direct printer ESC DTG Viper Europa Siebdruck Centrum, the company from Bad Salzuflen, has a new digital printer for printing dark textiles on their list.
The plant, according to ESC provides an improved color management, an even more simplified operation and as the main feature of a higher production speed. Thus, in one the second-half textiles are printed simultaneously.
Optional is also working with a range of four possible. To improve the paint especially on dark fabrics, is the Viper with the WIMS (White fitted InkManagement system). This is a special pump system that circulates the ink. Ink being be prevented, a uniform ink coverage is guaranteed and maintenance costs and time are significantly lower, as reported by ESC.
The print head with 180 nozzles per channel and ink-repellent coating allows two different combinations: 4 x white and 2 x CMYK or CMYK. The maximum print size is 432 x 635 mm or 432 x 1143 in the use of four pallets.
Also new is an integrated sensor height, folds or other disturbances on the substrate using integrated sensors detects. The pallet is then automatically reduced, so that to avoid damaging the print head and the pressure can be smoothly continued. The often encountered problem of pollution of the encoder strip through paint mist has been eliminated by a built-in trigger mechanism. "With these technical improvements, the construction of a digital system for reliable and fast white paper on small-scale textile industry has succeeded, which also meets high quality standards," concludes Verena Volland from ESC.
