SIEBtuDRUCK in Schloß Holte with ESC machinery
Followed the motto "Your success is our goal," the Europe Screen Center (ESC) since its inception in 1949. To support the organization from Bad Salzuflen, for almost 60 years domestic and international clients with advice and machine designs for screen, digital and pad printing. ESC is now one of the oldest suppliers to the printing industry. The companies new founder of "SIEBtuDRUCK" Jochen Thielen and Torsten Uhlig, took advantage for their companies start in Schloss Holte this experience and responsible ESC with all the equipment of the new company.
Besides the quality of the machines from ESC, it was important for Jochen Uhlig Thielen and Torsten relating complete machine configuration from a single source. Thus, the two entrepreneurs opted for a complete, fully automated screen printing line, comprising a lock cylinder engine, the ESC-High Press 'S' Stop, trailing-sheet feeder in combination with a UV dryer, followed by active cooling and has an automatic sheet stacker.
The particularity of this series-connected screen printing line is the integrated Glättekalander between automatic sheet feeder and screen printing machine. This innovative technology is very successfully used for the UV spot and the UV surface coating. Especially the stop cylinder technology goes through the smooth and vibration-free end to a faster and more precise pressure, so that is achieved depending on the material and form a high pressure capacity of up to 3,000 impressions per hour. The modern machine design, automated processes, and extremely short set-up times and high user-friendliness are the key merits of the ESC-High Press.
Particular details of the ESC-High Press is the integrated calendar.
The principle of the calendar consists of two counter-rotating rollers under pressure. The upper is made of ceramics and can be heated with water up to 60 degrees. This wheel is available under adjustable pressure to the pressure roller, which is composed of hard rubber. The pressure is infinitely adjustable from zero to three tons. On the uppermost ceramic roll top is a doctor blade, which strips away the captured dust grains, so that the roll before the next contact with the sheet is clean again. The calendar, the crushed powder lying on the sheet absorbs the grain and loose particles from the heat. Thus, the sheet of particles, which disturb the paint is largely free. A powder grain would be felt by entrapment in the coating surface and affect the surface in large, should be varnished surfaces. The calendar also provides for the separation of the printed sheets, which means that the bow comes in flakes from the feeder system will be accelerated through the calendar and isolated so that it enters as a single document in the system of printing cylinder. Combined, the plant is high, with pressing the ESC-UV dryer discount, with an additional infra-red zone in the extended inlet and a downstream Aktivkühlzone is equipped. Due newest UV technology, UV curing material is gentle and very environmentally friendly at all commercially available materials such as paper, cardboard, foil, plastic and so on. For optimum sheet travel, especially with regard to the high running speed, has installed a continuous vacuum field in the UV dryer, the conveyor belt below generates a continuously adjustable vacuum. After curing, the base material for an automatic sheet stacker, is the ESC-Stacker fed. Regardless of the actual running speed of High Press can here the optimal storage speed is infinitely adjustable via potentiometer. Pneumatically controlled Geradestoßer, stack height sensor with an electronic proximity switch and a bubble blower for the individual sheets provide a gentle, precise stacking of the printed material. In addition to the acquired cylinder screen printing line ESC also has a complete prepress equipment. It consists, inter alia, from the automatic Siebbeschichtungsanlage ESC AT IC Perfect Coatmaster, the ESC-Electronic-Copierautomaten silkscreen stencil for exposing the silk-screen, a horizontal screen for quick drying and, above all, uniform drying of the exposed stencil, a screen with plant development integrated rear-ray and the necessary peripherals. It was also decided at SIEBtuDRUCK for the ESC ScreenJet FG 400 as a complete system for digital artwork production. The core of the system is an eight-color inkjet printer, which can be exploited, of course, in addition to film making as a digital printing system. Come to work on both single sheets and roll stock that can be printed with a resolution up to 2880 dpi x 2800th The new FilmGate5 rip software provides the user with all necessary and specific to the needs of film production matched components such as integrated color separation, PS3 and individual processing multipage PDF files, an extensive archive with 17 standard PostScript dot shapes, set of partial images, automatic cut and registration marks and more.
Innovative technology for labor and environmental standards
Also the automatic stencil printing washing & reclyming the printed screens is carried out at SIEBtuDRUCK independently. Here, the innovative concept of the ESC-IC InLine Perfect Pass system was required and offered itself as an ideal solution because it had to be precisely the operational requirements of the company. Another major reason for the buying was that ESC provides, unlike other manufacturers, the smallest and most compact design. The machine configuration consists of the modules, feeder, screenwashing, dripping, high pressure I, screenreclyming, high pressure II and screen-withdrawal to save space are arranged in a row. The newly developed ESC Perfecta IC InLine systems have run for the operator nor the additional advantage of the lowest maintenance effort. By using the latest technology, the cost of solvents and chemicals and energy to an absolute minimum can be reduced.
